With the <br />addition, this proposed action would make it a crime (misdemeanor) to pawn another person's property. <br />The proposed changes in the ordinance will also prohibit a pawnbroker or precious metal dealer from receiving <br />property from a person of unsound mind p�' an intoxicated person, and also prohibit the seller of said property <br />from giving a false or fictitious name, date of birth, etc. <br />The language being added is similar to other metro area pawnshop ordinances.
