City Council Study Session — 04/18/OS DRAFT Minutes - Page 15 that Langton Lalce Parlc has an existing Master Plan, which would obviously need updating in relation to Twin Lalces Redevelopment, but opined such discussions at this time would be premature until it was determined what the actual development would be. Councilmember Maschlca concurred with Councilmember Schroeder's comments, noting that the Parks and Recreation Commission was very cognizant of needs of the park and the neighborhood. Mayor Klausing concurred with Councilmembers Schroeder and Maschlca, no�ing that additional housing units, parlc users and stakeholders needed to be brought into the discussion process at a later date for consideration. Councilmember Ihlan expressed concern that the process she wanted should be in place before the development process. Mayor Klausing noted that the developer had been instructed that Langton Lake Park was "off limits" with their directive that the parlc remain untouched. Further discussion included proposed Twin Lakes Pathway along the southern park boundary; realignment of Parkway; and the proposed role of a task force at this time. Councilmember Schroeder concurred, up to a point, with Councilmember Thla�'s process, but opined that further information was necessary as to what the Twin Lalces Development would look lil�e. Mayor Klausing noted that there appeared to be City Council support for lool�ing at the Langton Lalce Parlc Master Plan at a later date, but such consideration was premature at this point. 11.
