City Council Regular Meeting — 05/09/05 <br />DRAFT Minutes � Page 3 <br />1997 through the south-central portion of the parcel. Mr. <br />Welsch further noted that Council action in 2003 had <br />designated numerous community parcels as "POS, <br />ParklOpen Space," to be used as storm water management <br />areas; and that it was not the intention to develop the parcel <br />except for the official road. Mr. Welsch advised that, due <br />to recent TIF' legislative changes, park lands cannot be <br />purchased with TIF' funds. <br />Mayor Klausing requested a written response from staff, <br />for future reference, providing the history and supporting <br />documentation for Council and public information and <br />accuracy. <br />2, Approve Minutes <br />Approve Minutes <br />2.a Council Meeting of Apri125,2005 Meeting of 04/25/OS <br />Kough moved, Ihlan seconded, approval of the April 25, <br />2005 Town Ha11 & Regular Meeting as amended. <br />Co��ections: <br />■ Page 10, Correction to April 11, 2005 Amended <br />Minutes (HIausing) <br />Roll Call Vote should read: <br />Ayes: Ihlan and Kough. <br />Nays: Maschka and Klausing. (Motion failed.) <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Kough; Ihlan; Schroeder and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />3, Consider Consent Items Consent Items <br />Councilmember Kough requested removal from Consent Agenda <br />of Items a and b, respectively entitled, "Approve Check <br />Register," and "Approve Contz-act�/Purchases in Excess of <br />$5,000." There were no additional changes to the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />At the request of Mayor Klausing, City Manager Beets briefly <br />reviewed those items being considered under the Consent <br />Agenda. <br />
