-�-�r� �► �r-�- <br />Recommendations <br />We recommend that the draft report be used as a discussion document and shared with <br />other commissions and residents. Using an iterative process af dialogue, the RHRA can <br />develop specific programs and policy initiatives that address the concerns af residents, <br />build on their suggestions, and engage them in being part � the solution. Some <br />particular programs would be reasonable new initiatives, but it is also clear than many <br />existing programs are not well known and therefore underused. Greater enforcement of <br />codes might be as effective as developing any new code� oxdinances_ But above all, the <br />benefits, costs and equity cf any new codes will need to be thought through and <br />effectively communicated. The role of the RHRA as a leader in facilitating community <br />input was well received and should be built upon.
