City Council Regular Meeting — 07/11/OS <br />DRAFT Minutes - Page 5 <br />the OVAL Task Force Report; opining it was done <br />excellently; and further opined that if the City followed the <br />report, the OVAL will be financially sound operationally. <br />Councilmember Kough thanked the Task Force for their <br />work on the report. <br />Schroeder moved, Ihlan seconded, acceptance of the <br />OVAL Task Force Report dated June 20,2005. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder; Ihlan; Kough and Maschka. <br />Nays: None. <br />3.g Accept Minnesota Department of Natural Resources <br />Grant for Shoreland Restoration at Lake Bennett <br />Schroeder moved, Ihlan seconded, authorization to accept <br />a grant from the Minnesota Department of Natural <br />Resources (Shoreland Habitat Program) for up to <br />$9,150.00 for shoreland restoration activities at Bennett <br />Lake. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder; Ihlan; Kough and Maschka. <br />Nays: None. <br />4. Items Removed from Consent Agenda <br />4.a Approve Check Register (former Consent Item 3.a) <br />Councilmember Ihlan identified specific items on pages 4 <br />and 8 of the Check Register related to the Twin Lakes <br />Redevelopment Proj ect, that she would be voting against, <br />opining that they were developer-required payments, and <br />not the City's responsibility. <br />Councilmember Kough concurred; and further requested <br />that the City Council, at their next Study Session, discuss a <br />policy, opining that the developer should take a shared-cost <br />responsibility for bills immediately. <br />Acting Mayor Maschka suggested those items be separated <br />Minnesota DNR <br />Grant <br />Shoreland <br />Restoration at <br />Lake Benne�t <br />Items Removed <br />from Consent <br />Agenda <br />Approve Check <br />Register <br />
