The City can require service providers use low sulfur fuels and trucks <br />that meet the new particle emission standards. <br />I4} What does Ramsey County require its cities to collect (average <br />pounds of recycling per person per year)? <br />Ramsey County has no requirement as to the amount of recycling <br />collected per person per year. It does require cities to ensure every <br />resident has the opportunity to recycle at least four broad categories <br />of recyclable materials at the place the resident lives - which is <br />state law. <br />15) What is the date of the Recycling Association of Minnesota (RMR} <br />report referenced on page 2 of the report? <br />December 16, 2002 <br />16} Figure 3 on page 3, is the y axis total tons per year for the City <br />of Roseville? <br />Yes <br />17) What is the charge per month for the different size garbage bins <br />for each of the companies that serve Roseville (a.e. 32 gal, 64 gal, 96 <br />gal, etc...}? <br />Garbage companies are free to charge whatever they like and to change <br />their rates without notifying the City. As part of their licensing the <br />haulers provide the City with a list of rates. That list is attached. <br />However, haulers' prices can vary for any number of reasons such as a <br />temporary price reduction for new customers or a group discount. Thus <br />rates on the list are not always what residents are quoted when they <br />call seeking pricing information. <br />
