Ms. Himr�ch spoke in support of maintaining a <br />full-time Naturalist at HANC to effectively manage resources <br />and volunteers. <br />Bob Holtz, 668 OverlookDr. <br />Mr. Holtz spoke in support of maintaining a full-time Naturalist <br />at the HANC to manage volunteers and keep the facility <br />successful and to provide expertise. <br />Betty Wolfangle, Active volunteer at and Board Member of <br />the HANC Foundation <br />— Ms. Wolfangle reviewed the need to maintain a full-time <br />Naturalist at HANC and listed some of the job responsibilities of <br />the Naturalist. Ms. Wolfangle noted the success to-date of <br />fundraising efforts of the Friends of HANC, further noting that <br />membership had doubled. <br />Ms. Wolfangle strongly encouraged the City Council to continue <br />the full-time Naturalist position to maintain the dignity, <br />leadership and stability of the HANC. <br />Ms. Wolfangle further addressed the condition of the boardwalk <br />and the need to replace the deteriorating flotation material before <br />it became an increased liability issue. <br />Ms. Wolfangle suggested that the City Council, in order to <br />address the continuing capital improvement needs of the City's <br />park system, set up a referendum to address documented needs <br />in 2006. <br />Mayor KTausing noted the need to consider the entire budget and <br />taxpayer burden. <br />Ms. Wolfangle opined that, in order to maintain the quality of <br />life in Roseville, citizens would be supportive of such a <br />referendum; and requested at a minimum replacement of the <br />boardwalk next year. <br />Ernie Willenbring, 832 �ovell Avenue <br />Mr. Willenbring passionately addressed the City's continuing <br />Buckthorn problem and needed and improved eradication efforts, <br />
