� Respond to citizen concerns and complaints regarding nuisance <br />code violations and/or landus� issues. <br />* Proactively enforce city nuisance code and lanciuse provisions <br />when violations are observed from the public right-of-way. <br />Explore options for improving voluntary compliance and <br />enforcement efforts through research and observing other <br />successful municipal efforts. <br />4. METHODS <br />Educate and inform citizens of common violations and identify <br />benefits of voluntary compliance and enforcement efforts. <br />4 Informational segments in the Roseville Wrap. <br />° Informational segments in the Roseville Business Link. <br />� Informational segments on the cable network (CT15), <br />� Periodic mailings to business properties. <br />° Informational segments in local newspapers. <br />4 When mailing notices of violations to residents or <br />businesses, include information (handout) identifying the <br />benefit compliance will bring to the neighborhood. <br />Inform citizens of assistance available through: <br />° Housing Resource Center. <br />° Dispute Resolution Center. <br />4 County assistance programs. <br />Inform citizens and business owners of options in gaining <br />compliance. <br />4 i.e. inform of how and where to dispose of storage, <br />appliances, etc. <br />Respond to citizen concerns and complaints. <br />4 Document all calls in computer complaint system. <br />° Inspect all received complaint within 3 days. <br />4 Respond to complainant (if requested) with outcome. <br />Proactively enforce city nuisance and la�duse provisions. <br />4 Initiate enforcement action when zoning ordinance and/or <br />nuisance violations are observed from the public right-of- <br />way (inboth residential and commercial areas). <br />° Priority issues will include the following: <br />— Outside storage of junk, debris, unusable equipment and <br />materials. <br />— Outside storage of vehicles. <br />■ Inoperable/junk. <br />+ Unlicensed. <br />* Stored on grass. <br />rh'_Y_•c iu�tis•�l�srs ��.vr�� _�sst+c�u� �r.iiilr�, ��::-s•� .h�^eti�xnl_µv,�o ��S NEIGHBORHOOD <br />ENHANCEMENT EFFOCiT' doc <br />
