The work for this contract was finished in September. All final punch <br />list items have been completed, and the contractor has requested final payment. This contract <br />consisted of the following proj ects: <br />P-OS-02 Westwood Village — Manhole Reconstruction <br />P-OS-04 Long Lake Road — Mill & Overlay (From Terminal Road to County Road <br />C-2) S.A.P. 160-217-13 <br />Prior Avenue — Mill & Overlay (From Hwy 36 to County Road B-2) <br />S.A.P. 160-234-04 <br />Hwy 36 Service Dr — Mill & Overlay (From �'a�rview Ave to W Perimeter <br />Dr) S.A.P. 160-241-04 <br />West Perimeter Drive — Mill & Overlay (From Hwy 36 Service Dr to Prior <br />Ave) <br />Policy objectives: City policy requires that the following items be completed to fmalize a <br />construction contract: <br />* Certification from the City Engineer verifying that all of the work has been completed <br />in accordance with plans and specifications. <br />� A resolution by the City Council accepting the contract and beginning the one-yea� <br />warranty. <br />Financialimplications: The fmal contract amount, $487,685.71 is $8,858.221ess than the <br />awarded amount of $49b,543.93. This represents a decrease in contract of appr� nraa#e�y 1.8%. <br />The decrease was due to actual quantities for this project being lower than estimated. The costs <br />for this contractwill he paid for as follows: <br />
