This year, as part of the Administrative Annual <br />Work Plan, a selection process was initiated for the legal services. <br />The selection process included: <br />. The policy has been <br />systematically implemented for the selection of appraisers, auditors, engineers, planners and <br />right-of-way specialists. The final servir.e to be selected using the policy is legal servic:es. �- <br />Financial Implications: <br />Funds for each of the categories of attorney services are included in the City's annual budget. The <br />proposals submitted reflect a cost equivalent to our budgeted amounts. The proposals were <br />evaluated, in part, on the firms approach to the provision of legal services which could ultimately <br />reduce our financial costs. '�'he savings, if any, would be evident only after a�vorking relationship <br />with the City is formed. <br />
