The following paragraphs contain information on the existing and <br />planned metropolitan facilities serving your community. <br />The wastewater flow from the City of Roseville is treated at the Metropolitan WWTP <br />located within St. Paul, MN. There are many projects scheduled for the Metropolitan <br />WWTP through 2030. These projects will provide additional capacity at the plant as well <br />as improve its ability to meet required permit standards. <br />The City of Roseville is served by Council interceptor885 L This interceptor currently <br />has limited available capacity to provide for the long-term needs of the city. The Council <br />has several proposed interceptor improvementprojects scheduled to support the long- <br />term needs of the city. The rehabilitation of portions of the Roseville interceptor in <br />Roseville is scheduled for design and constructionbetween 2011-2(�20. The project to <br />provide additional capacity within interceptor 8851 will also support the long-term needs <br />of the city. This project is scheduled for design and construction between 2011-2020. The <br />cityneeds to verify its long-term needs as part of its car�,�a,�;��ensive plan update. If <br />necessary, detailed information regarding metropolitan fa���ities is available from the <br />Council's Municipal Services Section by calling the staff at (651) 602-1005. <br />Increases in growth rates and resulting increases in flow beyond those shown in Table �. <br />may result in short-term capacity limitations within the MD�. <br />TnflowlInfiltra�ion Reduction Goal <br />The Council's Water Resources Management Policy Plan states that the Council will <br />establish UI goals for all communities dischargingwastewater to the 1VIDS. Communities <br />that have excessive III in their sanitary sewer systems will be required to eliminate the <br />excessive I�'[ by 2012. The Council will begin the implementation of an U� <br />assistance/sure�i�u�e program in 2007. The money collected from the communities with <br />excessive ilI may be used hy those communities to remove U� f��Qt their systems. The <br />Council will limit increases in s�z�iee within those communities that have not met their <br />,uI gval(s) starting in 2013. The Council will meet with the community and discuss this <br />alternativebefore it is implemented. This time period may be shorter if excessive i1T <br />j eopardizes the Council's ability to convey wastewater without an overflow occurring. In <br />this case the Council may limit increases in service within those communities that have <br />excessive � immediatelyupon notification to the community.
