Beets: <br />Enclosed are documents that are intended to help your con�uinity update its comprehensive plan. <br />�' The Metropolitan Council is providing these documents as required by state law. State law also <br />requires that. communities submit their updated comprehensiveplan to the Council three years <br />�ii� the date this material is received. <br />The docninents comprise your "system statement," w�iicli shows how changes in the CQr.�ci�'s <br />regional system plans for transportation, water resources management and regional parks <br />speci�acally affect your community. The system statements contain: <br />� Key changes in transportation, aviation, water resources and parks policy plans. <br />. System plan considerationsaffectingyour community. <br />■ Forecasts at densities to help achieve regi�ai policy goals. <br />The ca�����ete text of the Council's regional plans, our new Local Planning Handbook and other <br />helpful materials can be found on line at <br />http:;r vwrw.me�err��a�.i�.��?+'�a�������ra��c�� +'t�me�ie�c.�it�r.
