'�. �� - <br />�� �a � ��' }�` „ {�� I [��<<:s�� . <br />t <br />� <br />Description: Liquor License renewals for the;'�a IMU��, <br />Background <br />Staff is in the process of renewing all liquor licenses for the year 2006. The licenses to be renewed <br />include, ten (10) Off-Sale Intoxicating (maximumof 10 allowed by City ordinance), twenty-fio�zr (24) <br />On SaleIntoxicating, four (4) Club, eight (8) Wine, fourteen (14) On-Sale3.2Non-IntoxicatingMalt <br />Liquor, ten (10) Off-Sale 3.2 Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor (City ordinance or state statute do not <br />limit the number of the last five types of licenses). The Police Chief has reviewed the records, and <br />finds no reasons for denial of the licenses. The City Attorney will review the applications prior to <br />the issuance of licenses to ensure they are in order <br />Financial Implications <br />The estimated revenue of $190,000 that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset <br />the cost of police compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and <br />license administration. <br />Council Action <br />Motion approving/denying the renewal of the following liquor licenses for calendar year 2006 with <br />the condition that all required application items be submitted before the licenses may be issued. <br />
