ATTACHMENT A DRAFT ORDINANCE AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY MAINTENANCE; AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE BY ADOPTING WITHIN TITLE 9, SECTION 906 THE INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE, 2003 EDITION AND AMENDMENTS THERETO. The City Council of the City of Roseville does ordain: SECTION 1: Title 9, Section 906 of the City Code is hereby named " Housing Maintenance and Preservation" and amended to read as follows: Section 906.01. Adoption. There is hereby adopted by reference, the code referred to as the International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc-, for the establishment of minimum acceptable standards for the maintenance of existing building, structures, premises and facilities to protect health, safety and general welfare. Each and all of the standards, regulations and requirements, save and except such ��rtion� as are h�r�.;,�:.lit r deleted, amended or modified, as set abou� �.� specifiedin the International ]'rx,P�,�� -w=�syni�«�nti� Code, 2003 edition, are hereby �.'_.�,;.�ed, referred to, incorporated and made a part hereof as if fully set out at length herein. Not less than one copy of the said International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, shall be on file in the office of the City Manager and open for public inspection at all times. Section 906.02. Conflicts and Interpretation. In the event any provision of this article and any provision of the International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, conflicts with or is inconsistent in any manner with any section of the Roseville City Code or other codes adopted by reference therein, or parts thereof, the provisions of this article and the International Property Maintenance Code, 2003 edition, shall supersede and take precedence over such portion or portions in conflict or inconsistent therewith.
