Page 1 o f 1
Thomas Paschke
From:
Sent: Tuesday, October 04,2005 8:16 AM
To: Thomas Paschke
Subject: Ron Anderson application for 952,960, and 978 Parker Ave
?r ck
My wife and I live at which is the largest lot effected behind these properties in this proposal. My wife has
lived here for 32 yers a nd 1-P k n crur area are probably some of the largest in Roseville
The families that have these lots, and homes here did for a reason. They wanted extra space for their families, to enjoy a big
yard, the wildlife, and the privacy. Not high density housing, like most of the neighborhoods in Roseville. There is strip of
woods that runs from Victoria St. to Lexington Ave. This patch of woods has an abundance of wildlife, deer, fox, squirrels,
rabbits, and number of different birds, which we all enjoy to see. Our children, and the children of our neighborhood have
played in these woods, exploring, building forts, tree houses, and just using their imagination. The important thing about these
activities for the children, it does not cost anything.
We spend a lot of time in our back yards, working, sitting for hours just listening, and enjoying mother nature, and our privacy.
By allowing this proposal of high density housing will distort our privacy. Privacy which we all have paid for with the purchase of
our properties, and the taxes we have paid, and still pay. If this proposal goes through it will drop the properties values, and
make them less desirable when we need to sell.
Mv familv moved into Roseville, June 1 st. 1956, and my mother still lives there. Our familv has exoanded, with 3 more homes
here, 19i3, 1978, and 1998. M p family has been a lot of taxes over the years, and I hape that gives us something to say on this
matter.
We DO NOT WANT THIS, homes being built ten feet from our back property line. We want our privacy, THAT'S WHAT WE
PAIn FOR, and that's what we want. If you want build five house that are on 75' lots, with the homes next to the street, and
keep the big back yards, we will considerthat, but no more than that.
Very Sincerely:
Ji r.l Marak aerud
Roseville, MN 55113
