Residential I�wel�inp Unit (RDU): means a single family home and <br />each residential unit in a duplex, triplex, fourplex, or townhouse <br />complex. <br />5. Multiple Familv Dwellinq Unit (MDU): means an apartment or <br />condominium in a building with 5 or more units. <br />6. RFP: The terms "RFP" or "City RFP" refer to the August 26, 2005 <br />City of Roseville Request for Proposal for Comprehensive Recycling <br />Services, together with attachments thereto. A copy of the RFP is <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br />7. Commoditv: An individual category of recyclable material as detailed <br />in definition 1. Recyclables. <br />[I. Preparation <br />Material shall be clean and free of non-recyclable material. Items <br />shall be placed in paper kraft bags, blue recycling bins or any other <br />container that can reasonably be identified as containing recyclable <br />material to be collected. Contractor shall collect recyclables that <br />have been prepared in the following manner: <br />Curbside: A 3-sort collection of co-mingled containers, co-mingled <br />fibers and textiles will be used. <br />Co-mingled Containers to include: Glass Food & Beverage <br />Containers, Metal Food & Beverage Containers, and Mixed Plastic <br />Bottles with a neck: Poly-Ethylene Terephthalate (PET) and high- <br />density Poly-Ethylene (HDPE). <br />Co-mingled Fibers to include: Newspaper, Boxboard, Magazines, <br />Mixed Mail, Catalog, Phone books, Wet Strength Cardboard and <br />Corrugated Cardboard. Corrugated Cardboard will be broken down <br />flat into bundles approximately 3' x 3'. No cardboard that is wax or <br />plastic-coated or contaminated by food or grease shall be accepted. <br />Textiles to include reusable: Linens — towels, sheets, blankets, <br />curtains and tablecloths; Clothes — belts, coats, hats, gloves, shoes <br />
