The Contractor shall produce and distribute an annual flyer to each <br />residence in the cur�side program. The Contractor will also be <br />required to provide annually a multifamily complex recycling flyer to <br />Multifamily Complex owners, landlords or other designated contact <br />person in sufficient number that one copy may be distributed to each <br />tenant. The Contractor will provide a pdf or other mutually agreed <br />upon electronicformat version of each flyer for the City. <br />The Contractor shall conduct its own promotions and public <br />education to increase participation and improve compliance with <br />City-specified resident preparation instructions. The Contractor shall <br />submit a draft of any public education literature for approval by the <br />City, at least one (1) month before printing and release of any such <br />literature. <br />By December 31 of each year the Contractor shall provide the City <br />with a work plan detailing the educational and promotional efforts the <br />Contractor shall deploy in the subsequent year. <br />5. Eaual Oppor�unitv. During the performance of the executed <br />contract, the Contractor, in compliance with Executive Order 11246, <br />as amended by Executive Order 11375 and Department of Labor <br />Regulations 41 CFR, Part 60, shall not discriminate against any <br />employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, <br />religion, sex, or national origin. The Contractor shall take affirmative <br />action to insure that applicants for employment are qualified, and <br />that employees are treated during employment, without regard to <br />their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. <br />Such prohibition against discrimination shall include, but not be <br />limited to, the following: employment, upgrading, demotion or <br />transfer. recruitment or recruitment advertisina. lavoff or termination. <br />rates �f pa�r or other forms of compensation and selection for <br />training, including apprenticeship. <br />In the event of noncompliancewith the non-discriminationclauses of <br />this contract, this contract may be canceled, terminated, or <br />suspended, in whole or part, in addition to other remedies as <br />provided by law. <br />6. Compliance with Laws and Reaulations: In providing services <br />hereunder, Contractor shall abide by all statutes, ordinances, rules, <br />and regulations pertaining to the provision of the services to be <br />1� <br />
