Background <br />The Council needs to establish its 2006 Meeting Calendar so meeting dates can be <br />advertised through the Roseville City News, Cable Channel 16, and other media. <br />In 2005, you scheduled regular council meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of <br />the month, and study/work sessions on the third Monday. <br />IX. Recommendation <br />I recommend essentially the same ��", _� °� and �`�� Monday meeting schedule for 2006. <br />Some exceptions: <br />January 16: Martin Luther King J�r.Day; Council will meet the �"�, 4t� and S�h Mondays. <br />February 20: President's Day, no meeting. <br />June 26: Rosefest Parade, no meeting. Councilmembers are invited to ride in the Parade. <br />September 14: Additional Special Meeting to Canvass the Primary Election. <br />December 4& 18: Truth in Taxation Hearing is required on the ls� Monday, December <br />4th. Council will conduct a regulai meeting immediately following the hearing on <br />December 4'�� and one additional regular meeting on the 18th. <br />Note: The enclosed calendar is for routine council meetings. Special meetings — such as <br />Community Town Hall meetings, strategic planning — will be addressed in January or <br />February of next year. <br />I��.
