EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, the 14th day of September, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; Johnson; and Klausing and the <br />following were absent: none. <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 10746 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS <br />FOR ROSEWOOD NEIGHBORHOOD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans <br />and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were <br />received on Wednesday, September 9, 2009, at 9:00 a.m., opened and tabulated according to <br />law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />BIDDER AMOUNT <br />TMS Construction, Inc. $103,222.40 <br />Urban Com anies $104,177.00 <br />Peterson Com anies $114,035.25 <br />G.F. Jedlicki, Inc. $126,347.00 <br />Frattalone Com anies, Inc. $126,721.65 <br />Minnesota Native Landscapes $130,154.90 <br />Sunram Construction, Inc. $139,350.06 <br />Veit &Com any, Inc. $158,503.25 <br />Midwest Asphalt Co oration $237,642.00 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that TMS Construction, Inc. of Prior Lake, Minnesota, is the lowest <br />responsible bidder at the tabulated price of $103,222.40 and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota: <br />1. The Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract <br />with TMS Construction, Inc. for $103,222.40 in the name of the City of Roseville for <br />the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders <br />the deposits made with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder and the <br />next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts have been signed. <br />
