Department Approval <br />�� ,�: �� <br />l�'�, <br />Jy <br />REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 10/12/09 <br />Item No.: 7.d <br />City Manager Approval <br />� / <br />Item Description: Approve a One Day Gambling Permit for Ramsey County Sar Association <br />Foundation for November 14 at the Midland Hills Country Club <br />BACKGROUND <br />Ramsey County Sar Foundation has applied for an Off-Site Gambling Activity License to conduct <br />lawful gambling activities on November 14, 2009 at the Midland Hills Country Club located at 2001 <br />Fulham Street. <br />The Minnesota Charitable Gambling Regulations allow any nonprofit organization, which conducts <br />lawful gambling for less than five (5) days per year, and total prizes do not exceed $50,000.00 in value, <br />to be exempt from the licensing requirements if the city approves. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion approving Ramsey County Sar Foundation's request to conduct Off-Site gambling on <br />November 14, 2009 at the Midland Hills Country Club located at 2001 Fulham Street. <br />Page 1 of 1 <br />
