Through unbiased <br />peer review and constructive, positive judges comments, your clients will be confident that the work <br />you are performing for them is exceptional. ~ <br />-The publicity the Pegasus Awards generates for entrants is invaluable. We provide winners with the ~ <br />tools and assistance to create positive impressions in national and local media. And receiving an <br />award from a respected competition is an important marketing point to be used on your company <br />website, marketing materials and resume. <br />- The Pegasus Awards trophy is an award that keeps its value. The custom engraved statue with its ~ <br />chrome brushed base weighs nearly five pounds. It is a piece of art that will look impressive on your <br />desk, in your trophy case, and especially in your clients office for years to come. j <br />WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE PEGASUS AWARDS? <br />Entries must have been produced by the nominee or in conjunction with a production house. Programs produced within <br />the last two years preceding the entry deadline are eligible. Submissions may not have been nominated in any previous <br />Pegasus Award competitions. The Pegasus Awards assumes all entries are original, and the entrant <br />either owns the work or has permission from the client with all the rights granted therein. The <br />Pegasus Awards are not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant. <br />HOW DO I ENTER? <br />Click on our "Entry Form" link, register a user name and password, log in and fill out the easy to use on-line form. <br />Registration creates an account for you to use throughout the competition. You can use this account <br />to submit entries, access scoring and judges comments, and order extra trophies and certificates. j <br />You can also have an entry form faxed to you or enter via a-mail or phone at (480) 205-0785. <br />WHAT IS THE ENTRY FEE? <br />The entry fee is $60. There is a 20% discount for students. Productions may be entered in multiple categories at $60 per ~ <br />category. Productions entered in multiple categories are eligible to win multiple awards. ~ <br />WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED? <br />We accept checks, money orders and most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover). Credit card orders will j <br />be charged to "Entertainment Recognition Group". Make checks payable to The Pegasus Awards. <br />WHAT FORMAT SHOULD I SUBMIT MY ENTRIES ON? <br />Entries may be submitted on VHS videotape or DVD. <br />CAN MULTIPLE ENTRIES BE SUBMITTED ON ONE TAPE OR DVD? <br />Because different categories may be judged at different locations, each entry should be on a separate videotape or DVD. <br />WHEN IS THE DEADLINE? <br />The next competition Goses on July 25th, 2009 <br />CAN I GET A DEADLINE EXTENSION? <br />Yes. Please a-mail deadline an-~gasusawards com so you can get an extension number. <br />WHAT ARE THE ENTRY CATEGORIES? <br />The categories are broken down into 7 main areas: commercials, corporate communications, education, government, <br />medical, public access, and special evenf/wedding. <br />CAN I ENTER THE SAME PRODUCTION IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT CATEGORIES? <br />Many projects are entered in several categories. You may enter a production in as many categories <br />that you deem appropriate. Your entry will be judged separately for each category, and is eligible to <br />win an award in each category. Please be aware that an entry fee will be charged for each category <br />entered. <br />HOW WILL MY WORK BE JUDGED? <br />Each Pegasus Award nominee is judged by a set of industry standards and not against other nominees. Three judges <br />(two industry professionals and one end user) review each nominee. An entry is graded through five different elements, <br />each worth a possible twenty points. The scores of the three judges are averaged to determine the award 18vt;1. All <br />decisions of the judges are final. <br />
