Consider Jim Badzinski's Request for a Variance to <br />Allow Construction of a 16' x 16' Deck at 381-385 <br />South Owasso Boulevard (PF 3540) <br />8.1 <br />Kysylyczyn moved, Maschka seconded, adoption of <br />Resolution No. 10167 entitled, "A Resolution Approving a <br />39 Foot Variance to Section 1016.16A of the Roseville <br />City Code for Jim Badzinski, 385 South Owasso <br />Boulevard (PF 3����." <br />City Planner Thomas Paschke reviewed the request and <br />the three (3) variances required for deck <br />improvements/construction on the lakeshore side of home. <br />Councilmember Maschka sought clarification on the <br />Planning Commission and staffs recommendation for the <br />proposed variance width. <br />City Planner Paschke related concerns expressed by the <br />adjacent property owner and his unrestricted view of the <br />lake. <br />Councilmember Maschka opined that the twelve foot (12') <br />setback from the lake appeared reasonable, but questioned <br />how a deck width of sixteen feet (16') would encroach on <br />anything, and should not affect the neighbor's sight line. <br />Communication <br />Recognitions <br />Public Hearings <br />Land Use <br />Resolution 10167 <br />Resolution 10168 <br />Resolution 10169 <br />Badzinski Request <br />for a Variance to <br />Allow Construction <br />of a 1�' � 16' Deck <br />at 381-385 South <br />Owasso Boulevard <br />(PF 3540) <br />
