Maintenance Activities: Movement of sweeping vehicles, garbage trucks, maintenance <br />� trucks, shopping carts, and other service vehicles and equipment is prohibited within three <br />� hundred feet (300') of a residential district between the hours of ten o'clock {10:00) P.M. a+tiai <br />� seven o'clock (7:00} A.M., except for, emergency vehicles and emergency utility or <br />'4 maintenance activities. <br />f� <br />1; Except in the case of emergency, all snow removal operations within three hundred feet <br />1� (300') of an adjacent residential district shall be undertal{en consistent with a snow <br />].� management plan that must be annually submitted to and approved by the city. The plan <br />]� must include measures to minimize removal activity during the hours of ten o'clock (10:00} <br />1� P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. consistent with public safety requirements. The plan <br />1� must also address the location and management of short-term ( 7 day or less) and long-term <br />1� (more than 7 days) storage of snow on-site and off-site. Long term snow storage shall not <br />1� occur within 300 feet of a residential zone. Long term snow storage may only occur on <br />]� surplus parking spaces beyond the required spaces within Section 1018 of this Code. <br />�� <br />?] HL Equipment Restrictions: All ground-mounted or roof-mounted equipment, automatic <br />�� doors, speaker systems, gas pumps, car washes, vehicle vacuum cleaners, air hoses, or other <br />� 3 noise sources within three hundred feet (300') of a residential area must be completely <br />�� screened to a point five feet (5') above the first floor of adjacent residences. Outdoor speaker <br />�5 systems or other public address systems which can be heard outside are not allowed to be <br />�� used between the hours of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. and seven o'clock (7:00) A.M. within <br />�� three hundred feet (300') of a residential district, even if screened. <br />�R <br />i� I�. Lighting: The height of light poles and fixtures shall comply with subsection 1010.12 of <br />�� this title, and shall not exceed a height of twelve feet (12') � if located closer than fifty <br />3] feet (50') to ef a residential property line, or a height of twenty five feet (25') if located <br />3� between •••�•�:-- �';����-� �-�-� �#��r feet (50') #e� one hundred feet (100') of a <br />3� residentialproperty line, and less than 0.5 foot candles at the propertY line (See Cha�ter <br />?� 1011 for light rec�uirements). Light poles or fixtures may be a maximum of forty feet (40') <br />3� tall if located �reater than �r�e� �� one hundred feet (100') from a residential property line <br />3+� and if completely screened (light source and light source glare) by building, berm, or <br />�� landscape material with a minimum opacity of ninety percent (90%) to eye level view of <br />3� living spaces in homes within three hundred feet (300') of light source. All lights not <br />�� reasonablyrequired for security or business operations must be turned off between the hours <br />�� of ten o'clock (10:00) P.M. and sunrise, or operated by motion detectors so that they only <br />�l turn on when there is activity nearby and b�nn off shortly thereafter. <br />�� <br />�� J�.
