Work Experience: <br />I was employed for 40 years with the Department of Transformation. While <br />working for the State, I was working in the area of Traffic Engineering. I <br />am currently retired from the State of Minnesota and working on a part time <br />basis with Peoples Electric Company of St. Paul as a Project Manager. <br />Education: <br />Graduated from Murray High School in St. Paul in 1957.While working for <br />MN/Dot, I earned numerous credits in the field of Civil Engineering. <br />Civic and Volunteer Activities: (Past and Present) <br />Past: <br />I was a Hockey Coach for Squirts in the Roseville Park and Recreation <br />programs. <br />I served on the Grass lake water Management Organization Commission for <br />about 6 years. <br />I also have served on the Roseville Planning Commission for 8 years. (1995 <br />to 2003). <br />I also served as a Liaison, from the Planning Commission to the Roseville <br />Park & Recreation Infrastructure Committee. <br />Presently: <br />I am presently the chair of the Roseville Public Works and Transportation <br />Commission. <br />Reasons for wanting to serve on Roseville City Council <br />I feel that my past several years (12+) of serving on various commissions in <br />Roseville i.e.: Grass Lake Water Shed District, Planning commission and <br />Public Works and Transportation Commission has given me the knowledge <br />on how the city of Roseville operates and will help in my roll as a <br />Councilman . I want to continue to see Roseville GROW. <br />What is your view of the role of the City Council: <br />My view is to serve ALL the Citizens of Roseville, all the Businesses, and <br />to work with City staff and other Council members. I would like to assist in <br />making Roseville a better place to work, live and also to help in the growth <br />of the city. <br />
