The fair includes 48 private home & garden vendors plus city departments, commissions and <br />HRA and HRC informational tables. <br />l,� This year the fair is paciced with varied seminars in six different rooms beginning at 1 Q:30 <br />a.m. Some of those seminars include "Landscapingbasics", "How to Remodel your Home", <br />"Installing Pavers" and "Prairie and Native Plants". Checic out the full schedule of seminars <br />and exhibitor in the attached Home & Garden brochure as well as on the city web page. <br />I.� This year's fair is made possible with great sponsorships. Corporate Sponsors include <br />Linder's Garden Center, Renewal by Andersen and TEMO Sunrooms of Minnesota. In <br />addition regular sponsors include CommunityNational Banlc, Home Sweet Home Equity, JR <br />Builders, Mortgage & Investment Consultants, Reilly Plumbing & Hardware, Rockler <br />Woodworlcing & Hardware and Titan Construction. The fair is a program of the Roseville <br />HRA with committee members from Lillie Newspapers, City of Roseville, Roseville Area <br />Schools and Senior Program and community volunteer Shirley Friberg. <br />1. � Best of all, the Fair is free and open to the public. Don't miss it! <br />� <br />�_[� Home & Garden Award Program Proposed Process <br />�.l On April 10, 2003, the Council requested that the evaluation of the merits of a Home & <br />Garden AwardProgram be referred to the Parlcs & RecreationCommissionand the Housing <br />& Redevelopment Authority for further study. The proposedprogram would provide awards <br />to residents and businesses that invest in their homes, businesses and gardens. <br />�.� The HRA and Parlcs and Recreation Commissionmembers discussed the proposedprogram <br />at their meetings and felt that there was enough interest to evaluate the costs and benefits of <br />developing a program in Roseville. Sam Marlcs was assigned as the HRA liaison to fitrther <br />review the program along with Kathleen Cassen Micicelson and Rochelle Westlund from the <br />Parlcs & Recreation Commission. <br />Home & Garden Fair & Award Program - Page 1 of 2 <br />
