City Code permits up to 10 off-sale liquor li enses. The <br />City currently has 9 existing licensees. <br />As the Council is aware, the issuance of an off-sale liquor license is conditional upon t9 <br />receiving a conditional use permit for the site. Absent this approval, a license cannot b <br />addition, both State Statute and City Code require the establishment to provide proof c <br />and related documentation. The applicant has provided all necessary documents R <br />licensure. <br />Financial Implications <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset the cc� <br />compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, � <br />administration. <br />Recommendations <br />Pending approval of the conditional use permit, Staff recommends that the license be a� <br />the Period January 1,2004 thru December 31,2004. <br />Council Action <br />Motion approving/denying the application for an Off-Sale Intoxicating Liquor License fc� <br />SuperAmerica, at 2172 Lexington Ave, for the year ending December 31,2004. <br />e applicant <br />; issued.
