Purpose. The Roseville City Code, Title 10, Sections 1011.01 through <br />L I 1011.05 and Section 1002.02 are hereby amended by revising language regarding <br />1� nonconforming uses and structures to provide more clarity and ease of use of this section. <br />L� SECTION 2. Section 1002.02 (Defin�ition of ��1�oo�no t�rming Structure") is hereby <br />L � amended as follows: <br />L� NONCONFORMING USE OR STRUCTURE: A nonconforming use or structure is <br />f� any use, placement, or arrangement of land andlor structures legally existing prior to the <br />I r enactment of a Code provision prohibiting such use or structure. <br />1$ <br />L� SECTION 3. See definition in Section 1002.02. <br />�� 1011.02: EXISTING STRUCTURES OR USES: <br />�� A. A pre-existing nonconforming use or structure may be continued but may not be extended, <br />� I expanded, intensified or changed, unless to a conforming use. Exceptions include: <br />�� <br />3� 1. An expansion of a pre-existing residential principal or accessory structure in an R-1 or <br />�� R-2 zoning district which maintains the same property line setbacks and structure <br />�$ separations provided there is no further encroachment of any non-conforming structural <br />
