EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the ��'� day of February, at b:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING A VARiANCE TO SECTION 1004.02D4 OF THE <br />ROSEVILLE CITY CODE FOR KARA ROSE <br />998 BROOKS AVENUE {PF3536) <br />WHEREAS, Kara Rose has requested a VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 (Corner Lot <br />Setbacic) of the Roseville City Code to allow the construction of porch and decic on to the west <br />side of her home; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rose parcel is located at 998 Broolcs Avenue, and legally described as: <br />Lot 14, Block 11 C. W, Michael � Addition <br />PIN: 11-29-23-23-0056 <br />WHEREAS,1004.02D4 reads: "a side ya�d adjacent to a st�eet on a co�ne� lot shall not <br />be less than 30 feet"; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rose principal structure was constructed in 1956 before the adoption of <br />the City Code and lies 30 feet from the property line adjacent to Aglen Street; and <br />WHEREAS, the proposed condition would place the decic and porch footings 19 feet <br />from the property line adjacent to Aglen Street, which location is an 11 foot encroachment into <br />the required setbacic; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held the public hearing regarding the <br />Rose request, recommending (5-2) approval of an 11 foot VARIANCE to Section 1004.02D4 of <br />the Roseville City Code, based on the findings of Section 5 and conditions of Section 6 of the <br />project report dated February 4,2004; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to approve an <br />11 foot VARIANCE to Section 1404.02D4 of the Roseville City Code for Kara Rose, 998 <br />Broolcs Avenue, subject to the following conditions: <br />
