Inexperience with abilities of an HRA (i.e., new <br />board. new nro�rams. etc.l <br />Mr. Maj erus noted that the HRA was the "new kid on the <br />block," with limited staffing resources requiring them to <br />work smarter and not harder to get the best return on the <br />City's investment. Mr. Maj erus note the need to further <br />eliminate communication gaps and misperceptions between <br />Councilmembers and the HRA. <br />1. Partnership with Council and Commissions <br />2. I Grants for aroiects <br />Mr. Maj erus noted that the HRA preferred to provide a <br />"hand up," rather than a"hand out" to those it served, and <br />needed to project its image in the City to provide <br />information to citizens (i.e., how to help people who want to <br />live in Roseville; what's special about living in Roseville; <br />transforming old housing stock into new opportunities; <br />advantages of first-ring suburbs; and Applewood Pointe as a <br />successful pilot project. <br />Community Development Director Welsch noted that the <br />proposed 5- 7 housing units at Applewood Pointe would be <br />
