Regular City Council Meeting — 02/09/04 <br />DRA,FT Minutes - Page 28 <br />Johnson-Nygaard, 13 0 Third Avenue SE, New Brighton, as <br />resident representative of the East Side Langton Lake <br />Neighborhood to the Twin Lakes Stakeholder Panel. <br />Councilmember Schroeder spoke in favor of the appointment, <br />even though Ms. Johnson-Nygaard was no longer a resident of <br />Roseville; opining that she would be another asset, such as Ms. <br />Erickson. <br />Councilmember Kough concurred with Councilmember <br />Schroeder, opining that Ms. Johnson-Nygaard was a very <br />dedicated person, with over 30 years into the Twin Lakes <br />redevelopment to-date. <br />Councilmember Maschka opined his respect for Ms. Johnson- <br />Nygaard, but spoke against the motion as she was no longer a <br />City resident <br />Councilmember Ihlan opined her preference to consider the <br />perspective of this appointment, when other applicants within the <br />City were not appointed, and spoke against the motion. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Schroeder and Kough. <br />Nays: Ihlan, Maschka and Klausing. <br />Motion failed. <br />A�pointee #2 of 2 <br />Ihlan moved, Klausing seconded, appointment ai Karen Milton, <br />2939 Mildred Drive, as resident representative of the East Side <br />Langton Lake Neighborhood to the Twin Lakes Stakeholder <br />Panel. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Ihlan, Maschka and Klausing. <br />Nays: Schroeder and Kough. <br />East of Fairview <br />A�pointee #1 of 2 <br />Schroeder moved Todd Cummings, 1800 County Road C-2. <br />Motion died for lack of a second. <br />Maschka moved, Kough seconded, appointment of Donald <br />
