Plannin� File 3547: Request by Investors Rea1 Estate Trust & Hood Packaging <br />� for a 20 foot Variance to Section lOQ7.OlE of the Roseville City Code to a11ow <br />� construction to increase the northern portion of the structure's building height at <br />� 3075 Long Lake Road. <br />- Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested the City Planner present the verbal summary of <br />� the staff report dated February 4,2004. <br />� <br />3�1 Thomas Paschke indicated that Hood Packaging, in cooperation with the property owner <br />� L Investors Rea1 Estate Trust, seeks approval of a 15 foot VARIANCE to Section 1007.O1E <br />�� (Building Height) of the Roseville City Code to a11ow the height of the northern portion of the <br />E� structure at 3075 Long Lake Road to be increased j[Yam 40 feet to 60 feet to install an extruder. <br />L� The Code allows for a 45 foot height. The existing product silos are in <br />excess of 50 feet. The specialized machinery wi11 be imported from Germany. The company <br />may hire additional employees. The existing size of the lease space is 17,000 s.f. <br />Thomas Paschke explained staff recommends approval with conditions in Section 6 of the project <br />report dated February 4,2004. <br />Building and �ire permits wi11 be applied for by the applicant. <br />There were no public comments. Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br />Motion: Member Bakeman moved, second by Member Stone, to recommend approval of a 15 <br />foot Variance to Section 1007.O1E (building height) of the Roseville City Code for Investors Rea1 <br />Estate Trust to a11ow a sma11 portion of the area leased by Hood Packaging, 3075 Long Lake <br />Road, to have a roof height of 60 feet, based on the �indings of Section 5 and conditions of <br />Section 6 of the project report dated February 4,2004. <br />Ayes: 7 <br />Nays: 0 <br />Motion carried 7-0. <br />
