Applicants that submit multiple applications within one application <br />period or in instances where more than one application is submitted on behalf of any one <br />applicant, all applications for that applicant will be deemed ineligible. Applications <br />submitted under this NOFA do not preclude submitting applications under subsequent <br />NOFAs (such as the NOFA for the Fire Prevention and Safety Grant Program), though <br />multiple awards in one Federal fiscal year may be limited. <br />Oberations and Firefi�hter Safetv Pro�ram. <br />Appropriate activities under this program area include: Training, Wellness and <br />Fitness, Firefighting Equipment, Personal Protective Equipment, and Modifications to <br />Fire Stations and Facilities. Please note that requests for emergency medical services <br />training and equipment are available under the appropriate activities in this program area. <br />Also, note that requests for equipment, personal protective equipment, and training to <br />prepare for response to incidents involving CBRNE are available under the appropriate <br />activities in this program area. <br />You can apply for as many eligible activities under this function as necessary to <br />meet your operational needs. There are no bonuses or penalties for applying for only one <br />activity or for multiple activities. The purchase of any equipment (communications <br />systems and equipment or personal protective equipment or firefighting equipment) under <br />this program should have the intent and/or goal of solving your interoperability problems, <br />as applicable.
