Please state your reasons for wanting to serve on the Commission/Committee/Task Force: (Be as specific as possible - use additional sheet if raecess�ry) The Roseville Planning Commission is a volunteer board made up of citizens who devote their time and talents to assist their local government in being responsive to and respectful of citizen input. The members are committed to the value of public service and are interested in the current and future development of the Roseville community. The Commission is a valuable resource for the Council. It serves as a vehicle for long-term considerationof community needs and an access point for community members with planning and development needs or concems. It is designed to produce efficient and cost-effective results for the community on issues within the jurisdiction of the Commission. I share these values and believe I can contribute to the achievement of the Commission's goals. I would like to be a part of the good work that the Commission accomplishes on behalf of the citizens of our community. � �'hat i� �� o� �'. e� u� �� z� e u�i t i� Cammi�ia��om�rtteefI`asl�� The Planning Commission exists to advise the City �il and to make decisions delegated to it by the elected City Council. In these roles, the Planning Commission is an important vehicle for gathering citizai input regarding the City's development and redevelopmentplans and specific development and redevelopment projects. The Commission is also an available forum for project-based studies designed to examine importantplanning issues in the necessary depth to support research-basedrecommendations for current and fu�ure policy developmentdiscussions at the City �il level.
