What is vour view of the role of this Commission/Committee/Task Force? Members of the commission re�resent the diversity of Roseville citizens. The role of the commission is to advise the Citv Council on the wishes and needs of the citizens. The commission is not in and of itself a nolicv-makin� bod� but it ma� advise the Citv Council on nolicy directions. The commission mav nlav an active role in settin��riorities. within bud�et constraints, that reflect the diverse interests of the citizens. You may also attach other materials vou would like the Council to considen ) As a member and �resident of the Roseville Area Arts Council I have had an opportunitv to develov several nroiects on behalf of the Citv. For exam�le. in or ag nizing the annual Arts at the OVAL Festival of Fine Arts and Fine Crafts or the Potterv in the Garden event. I've worked with Citv staff and have been nleasantiv sur�rised that thev trust me with communitv resources! Do I need some more si�n making, materials?—here they are! Do vou need another nerson staffed that dav to do thus and so?—iust ask! This shows that there is mutual res�ect between citv staff and Roseville volunteers. Membershi� on the Parks and Recreation Commission will heln continue to foster this relationshi� for all current and future Roseville citizens.
