EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF CITY COUNCIL CITY OF ROSEVILLE RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 19th day of April, 2004, at 7:00 p.m. The following members were present: and the following members were absent: . Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION APPROVING TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL AGREEMENT FOR LYDIA AVENUE AND T.H. 51 INTERSECTION MN/DOT AGREEMENT NO. $6375R BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, as follows: WHEREAS, the State has determined that there is justification and it is in the public's best interest to remove the existing traffic control signal and install a new traffic control signal including street lights, interconnect, control equipment, EVP system, and signing (Traffic Control Signal) at the LydiaAvenue and TH 51 (SnellingAvenue) intersection; .AND WHEREAS, Lydia Avenue is a Municipal State Aid Street; AND WHEREAS, the City and the State will participate in the cost, maintenance and operation of the new Traffic Control Signal and EVP System.; NOW, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Roseville enter into an agreement with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the followingpurposes, to wit: To remove the existing traffic control signal and install a new traffic control signal with street lights, emergency vehicle pre-emption, interconnect and signing on Trunk Highway No. 51 (Snelling Ave.) at Lydia Ave. in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth and contained in Agreement No. 86375R, a copy of which was before the Council. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to execute such agreement and any amendments, and thereby assume for and on behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein. The motion was duly seconded by and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof and the following voted against: WHEREUPON said resolutionwas declared duly passed and adopted.
