[EXPIRATION.] (a) The exception from the <br />limitations of Minnesota Statutes, section 469.1763, subdivision <br />2, expires 18 years after the receipt of the first increment <br />from a district to which the city has elected that this section <br />applies. <br />(b) The authoritv to approve tax increment financina plans <br />section expires on December 31, 2008. <br />Subd. 3.
