Plannin� File 3592: Request by Judith LeTendre for a roadway easement <br />vacation for a portion of Wagner Street. <br />Chair Mulder opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke to present <br />the verbal summary of the staff report dated August 4,2004. <br />r Mr. Paschke advised that on November 2, 1939, Rolling Green was recorded with <br />8 Ramsey County. This subdivision plat created lots and dedicated street right-of-way for <br />� an area generally west of Chandler Avenue, south of McCarrons Boulevard, and north of <br />E�] Wagner Street. Specific to this plat was a 30 foot wide dedication for the future roadway <br />I I to be known as Wagner Street. On July 2, 1980, a roadway easement was granted to the <br />I 2 City of Roseville, which easement is 30 feet wide, 266 feet long, and directly adj acent to <br />I 3 386 Wagner Street. On May 6, 1992, a roadway easement for a portion of the Western <br />I� Avenue cul-de-sac was granted to the City of Roseville. <br />IS <br />]� Judith LeTendre, property owner at 3 86 Wagner Street, has requested that a portion of the <br />]; 30 foot wide by 266 feet long easement be vacated. <br />I$ <br />l+� Mr. Paschke further indicated that the proposal to vacate the southern portion of the 30 <br />�Q foot by 266 foot roadway easement has been reviewed by the Public Works Department. <br />�] The roadway easement has been determined to be unnecessary. He expressed concern about the potential large house <br />on the lot south of his lot. <br />Ms. Arm Elias, 1823 Western Ave., asked how close an owner can build to a side lot line <br />(10 feet from the side lot line). She asked for further detail on the easement. <br />Jay Rollinger, 403 Wagner, asked if he could request a vacation of non-road land in front <br />of his house (yes). <br />Ann Elias likes the public access ways for pedestrians and hopes they can remain. <br />Deb Bloom and Thomas Paschke explained this right-of-way is not on the pathway plan <br />and there is no funding for a public pathway. <br />Chair Mulder closed the hearing. <br />�� MOTION: Member Pust moved, second by Member Bakeman, to recommend <br />�� approval of the request by Judith LeTendre to vacate a portion of the 30 foot by 266 <br />�� foot roadway easement, that being a piece 30' x 153', directly adjacent to 386 <br />
