REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 09/13/2004 <br />Item Number: 3.e <br />Department Approval: <br />��� <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION <br />Manager Reviewed: <br />� <br />�} <br />Roseville Fire Department Auxiliary One Day Gambling License <br />BACKGROUND <br />Agenda Section: <br />Consent <br />The Roseville Fire Department Auxiliary has applied for an Exemption from Lawful Gambling <br />Licensing Requirements to conduct lawful gambling activities on October 2,2004 at the <br />Roseville Fire Station # 1 located at 2701 N Lexington Ave. <br />The Minnesota Charitable Gambling Regulations allow any nonprofit organization, which <br />conducts lawful gambling for less than five (5) days per year, and total prizes do not exceed <br />$50,000.00 in value, to be exempt from the licensing requirements if the city approves. <br />COUNCII, ACTION REQUESTED <br />�� <br />Motion approving the Roseville Fire Department Auxiliary's request to conduct raffle i�n <br />October 2, at the Roseville Fire Station # 1 located at 2701 N Lexington Ave. `�'"� � <br />
