REQUEST FOR COUNCIL ACTION <br />Date: 09/13/04 <br />Item Number: 3.f <br />Department Approval: Manager Reviewed: Agenda Section: <br />��� <br />Consent <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION <br />Roseville Central Park Foundation One Day Gambling License <br />BACKGROUND <br />The Roseville Central Park Foundation has applied for an Exemption from Lawful Gambling <br />Licensing Requirements to conduct lawful gambling activities on October 1,2004 at the <br />Roseville Skating Center Community Room located at 2661 Civic Center Drive. <br />The Minnesota Charitable Gambling Regulations allow any nonprofit organization, which <br />conducts lawful gambling for less than five (5) days per year, and total prizes do not exceed <br />$50,000.00 in value, to be exempt from the licensing requirements if the city approves. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion approving the Roseville Central Park Foundations request to conduc raf��on �c�be�.' <br />1,2004, at the Roseville Skating Center located at 2261 Civic Center Drive. .� <br />
