Councilmember <br />Schroeder opined that the new policy would replace the <br />previous resolution, with its purpose to eliminate potential <br />long-term service on committees, allowing <br />Councilmembers to re-evaluate applicants through the <br />reapplication process. <br />Councilmember Maschka opined his preference for <br />returning to the policy established in Resolution No. 9372; <br />noting that committees experienced substantial turnover <br />naturally, and this policy would ensure experience and <br />continuity on commissions. Councilmember Maschka <br />recommended making minor revisions to Resolution No. <br />9372, rather than other options. <br />Mayor Klausing opined his preference for appointees to <br />continue their service to the City's advisory commissions <br />
