City Council Regular Meeting — 09/27/04
DRAFT Minutes - Page 2
inadvertently sent regarding hearing of a Minor Subdivision at
2291 County Road B. Mr. Paschke advised that this was not sent
from his office, and would not come before the Council for
action at tonight's meeting.
Public Comment about City Issues Public Comment
Mayor Klausing called for public comment by members of the
audience on any non-agenda items.
A. Janet Delmore, 526 Lovell Avenue
Ms. Delmore publicly thanked Mayor Klausing and
Councilmember Ihlan for their assistance in resolving her
concerns regarding alleged Roseville Police Department
past actions regarding children of color; and opined that
changes in leadership within the Police Department would
be forthcoming due to their participation.
B. John Kysylyczyn, 3083 N Victoria Street
Mr. Kysylyczyn noted that his request for revisions to the
August 16, 2004 meeting minutes, as adopted, had not been
resolved at this time and requested Council action in
identifying the time of adjournment from the closed
Executive portion of the meeting.
City Manager Beets advised Mayor Klausing that staff
would report back to the City Council at the next regular
Council meeting.
Mr. Kysylyczyn thanked Councilmember Schroeder for his
comments at the end of the September 20, 2004 meeting;
but opined that the comments had "fallen on deaf ears."
Mr. Kysylyczyn further opined that it was unfortunate that,
with the completion of the City Ha11 Campus project before
deadline and under budget, some people were taking credit
for the project who had originally been opposed to the
project. Mr. Kysylyczyn advised that he would prepare
comments for the next meeting that would provide a
historical context, show actual voting records related to the
project, and provide a refresher on the City Center project.
2.
