Travel Moratorium Question <br />Councilmembers Kough and Schroeder had previously <br />questioned the status of a moratorium on staff and/or Council <br />travel to out-of-state meetings. There appeared to be some <br />confusion or differing perceptions of current status. <br />Councilmember Schroeder requested that discussion regarding <br />the City's existing travel policy be held as part of the budget <br />process to eliminate confusion among staff and Councilmembers. <br />Councilmember Maschka spoke in support of reviewing the <br />policy. <br />Staff was directed to provide the Council with a copy of the <br />City's general travel policy, as part of the 2005 Budget process, <br />to review at a future Council Study Session (i.e., November of <br />2004); and to review each department's specific proposed 2005 <br />budget for travel expenses. <br />Travel Moratorium <br />Question <br />11. Review Wages Paid to Election Judges Review Wages Paid <br />Councilmember Kough sought consensus to raise wages for to Election Judges <br />election judges. <br />After discussion, it was Council consensus not to revise election <br />judge wages at this time. <br />12.
