The licenses to be renewed <br />include, ten (10) Off Sale Intoxicating (maximum of 10 allowed by City ordinance), twenty-three <br />(23) On Sale Intoxicating, four (4) Club, nine (9) Wine, sixteen (16) On Sale 3.2 Non-Intoxicating <br />Malt Liquor, and nine (9) Off Sale 3.2 Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor (City ordinance or state statute <br />do not limit the number of the last five types of licenses). A public hearing needs to be established <br />for the November 22,2004 council meeting for the consideration of the renewal of these licenses. <br />Financial Implications <br />The revenue that is generated from the license fees collected is used to offset the cost of police <br />compliance checks, background investigations, enforcement of liquor laws, and license <br />administration. <br />Council Action <br />Motion establishing a public hearing on Monday, November 22, 2004 for the renewal of the <br />following liquor licenses for calendaryear 2005. <br />
