To <br />enable that organization to begin, the C:it�� Attorney has been directed to assist by preparing the <br />necessary initial articles of incorporation and by-laws, and to further assist with any initial le�al <br />counsel required . <br />It is also important to �#� City Council ihat Cl�e }-�ote(���`lotel i»du5� r�� be properly represented on til: <br />Bureau as well as the general business carr�n�unity. In addition �t�, a City Council metz�Lc� ai�� the <br />City Manager as ex �I��:� members, iher�� shall be two t��r�! ��t:iti�l industry repr�sentatives and one <br />member from the general b>>sines5 ��in ti;ui�itv. Those qualifications and �erms are outlined in the <br />attached documents. <br />The City will begin its customary process of advertising and i�ztcrviewing to fill the general business <br />representative position and the HoteU�'�ietel industry �vill be requ�sted te proceed to fill the two <br />positions for their representation. <br />It is the recommendation of the City _�1 ��� �,e� . that the general business representative also be the <br />original incorporator. <br />Council Action <br />Motion to approve the City's support in the establishment of a Roseville Convention and Vistors <br />Bureau. <br />Motion to direct City Staff to begin th� City's recruitment process for filling the general business <br />representative. <br />Motion to request the Hc�tellltlatel indust:v to 5e�in its selectitin process for its two designated board <br />positions. <br />
