City Council Regular Meeting —11/08/04
DRAFT Minutes - Page 36
Ms. Bennett further reviewed a recently-developed proposed
Roseville Neighborhood Enhancement Program Process for
Review.
Ms. Bennett announced that the City's Housing and Garden Fair,
scheduled for February 26, 2005 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at
the Fairview Community Center was almost sold out, with only
three booths remaining. Ms. Bennett noted that there were six
corporate sponsors for the upcoming Fair; and that further
planning would focus on promotion and organization of the Fair.
Ms. Bennett advised that the Fair provided a good blend, with
limits for types and number of vendors.
Mayor Klausing thanked Ms. Bennett and the HRA for their
ongoing work on behalf of the community; but questioned the
necessity of a monthly HRA report, given continuing time
constraints for Council agendas. Mayor Klausing spoke in
support of the annual Housing Summit.
Mayor Klausing advised Ms. Bennett to notify the HRA that the
City Council would take their Principles of Communication and
Operation between the two parties under advisement and discuss
them at an upcoming Council Study Session. Mayor Klausing
opined that it represented a good general concept.
No formal action taken.
10. Consider Approving the Multi-Family Housing Study Consider
Ms. Bennett presented the final draft of the Roseville Multi- Approving the
family Housing Study Report with a proposed timetable for Multi-Family
public information, discussion and recommendations.
