CITY OF ROSEVII,LE <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ROSEVII,LE CITY CODE, <br />SECTION 1005.016, �GARn�NG ouTnooR sALES ANn SIGNAGE <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville, NTinnesota, does hereby ordain: <br />SECTION 1. PURPOSE. The purpose of this Ordinance is to clarify the <br />Sections of the City Code relating to outdoor storage and display and duration of <br />display. <br />SECTION 2. Section 1005.01 G2 is hereby amended as follows: <br />1005.01 G.2. Temporary outside display of inerchandise without a buildin� <br />protective structure may be established for up to °:'�� twelve 12 <br />calendar days a year e-a�� ��-a�e�e�tr�e�g# after issuance of a temporary <br />dis�la� permit by the Chief Code Enforcement Officer in any of the <br />following business districts where retail sales are allowed: B-2, B-3, B-4 and <br />Shopping Center Districts. A sin�le temporarv displav si�n_ not to exceed 20 <br />square feet, within 10 feet of the sales area, and with proUertv owner <br />approval. mav be placed on a wall or solid surface for the twelve (12) da� <br />temporarY sa1e. A site plan indicatin� the location of the sales area and si�n <br />sha11 be provided to the Citv for review and a�proval. <br />SECTION 3. Section 1005.01 G3 is hereby renamed Section 1005.01 G4. <br />SECTION 4. Section 1005.01 G4 is hereby renamed Section 1005.0 1 G5. <br />SECTION 5. Section 1005.01 is hereby amended by adding Section 1005.O1G3 <br />(a new Section) as follows: <br />Section 1005.01 G.3. Incidental or seasonal sales. such as produce, <br />nurserv, or �reenhouse sales, includin� an accessorv structure mav be <br />permitted after issuance of a Seasonal Sales Permit for a period not to exceed <br />rlinetY (90) calendar davs. after review of the followin� criteria submitted <br />with the permit application: <br />a. The amount of outside sales area compared to the amount of inside sales <br />sbace. <br />b. Location of the outside sales area and the e�ent it encroaches on required <br />setbacks. <br />c. Impact on traffic and pedestrian circulation on the site. <br />d. Impact on parkin� on the site. <br />e. The hei�ht of inerchandise displavs. <br />
