The Council has <br />discussed a more formal "liaison assignment" to outside organizations which will include required attendance <br />and policy direction of the outside organization. The Council would also like to make "general oversight <br />assignments" which carry the responsibility of being generally aware of the issues of the outside organization <br />but may not require attendance or ongoing contributions to the organization's policies or agenda discussions. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Adoption of a resolution establishing City Council liaison assignments, to further clarify the action taken at the <br />February 28, 2000 meeting. <br />Council Action Requested <br />Motion adopting a resolution establishing City Council liaison assignments. <br />
