EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � <br />Pursuant to due ca11 and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 13th day of March, 2000, at 6:30 p.m. <br />The following members were present, and the following were absent: <br />Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION <br />ESTABLISHING CITY COUNCIL LIAISON ASSIGNMENTS <br />WHEREAS, the City Council annually considers formal designation of liaisons to outside organizations; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council action taken on February 28, 2000 requires further clarification and formal <br />resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has discussed a more formal "liaison assignment" to outside organizations <br />which will include required attendance and policy direction of the outside organization; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council also wishes to make "general oversight assignments" which carry the <br />responsibility of being generally aware of the issues of the outside organization but may not <br />require attendance or ongoing contributions to the organization's policies or agenda <br />discussions. <br />NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby proposes the attached list of <br />coordination assignments including the primary liaison assignments and the general oversight <br />assignments. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member and upon a vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
