REQUEST FOR CITY COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE: 03/13/00 <br />ITEM NO: C-1 <br />Approval: <br />Agenda Section: <br />CONSENT <br />It�m Description: Request by Ryan Companies US, Inc. to withdraw their application for <br />utility and drainage easement vacation on Lot 6, Block 1, Centre Pointe <br />Business Park. (PF3197) <br />1,0 BACKGROUND <br />1.1 Ryan Companies has been working with the city for the past few months on developing the <br />remaining three (southern) lots in Centre Pointe Business Park Initially, it was <br />determined through discussions with the city, that the storm water retention pond could be <br />modified with an easement vacation to provide added green space and recreational area. <br />Ryan Companies submitted a vacation application and the city provided property owners <br />within 350 feet and the local official paper with their respective public hearing notices. <br />1.2 On March 6, 2000 Ryan Companies determined the vacation was unnecessary at this point <br />and request the city withdraw their request.
