Chair Klausing opened the hearing and requested City Planner Thomas Paschke <br />2 to provide a verbal summary of club house refinements to the plans since the <br />3 meeting of 7anuary 12, 2000, including building landscaping grading plan. He indicated the e�sting structure to be set back 270 feet from the <br />east properry line; 285 feet from the west curb of Midland Hills Road; 330 feet <br />from the adj acent (east) residential property line; 4 15 feet from the adj acent (east) <br />residential home; and 425 feet from the adjacent (southeast) residential home. <br />Further, Mr. Paschke indicated the existing drive-up lane to be set back 185 feet <br />from the east property line; 203 feet from the west curb of Midland Hills Road; <br />250 feet from the adjacent (east) residential home; and 280 feet from the adjacent <br />(southeast) residential home. He stated the e�sting structure is 80 feet in width as <br />it faces to the east. <br />Mr. Paschke identified the proposed structure to be set back 140 feet from the east <br />properiy line; 155 feet from the west curb of NTidland Hills Road; 200 feet from <br />the adjacent (east) residential properiy line; 285 feet from the adjacent (east) <br />residential home; and 332 feet from the adjacent (southeast) residential home. <br />NIr. Paschke also indicated the proposed clubhouse has a minimum of four width <br />changes that face east. He stated the width of the structure is 60 feet in width at <br />the closest point to the properiy line and 132 feet at the structures greatest width. <br />Mr. Paschke described the site plan, building design and roadway realignments. <br />The proposal currently has a 32-foot height. A revised grading plan has been <br />completed for the site (but was not in the packet). <br />29 Landscaping has changed to screen activities and more of the parking and <br />3o driveway areas. The parking lot lighting plan has yet to be developed, but must <br />3 � meet the City Code. <br />32 <br />33 Staff recommended approval with conditions. <br />34 <br />3s Member Olson asked for clarification of the golf cart parking spaces (lower level <br />36 of the building). What will the chain-linked area be used for? Chair Klausing asked for details on the <br />photometric plan and whether staff measures light on the site (no).
